Admin Panel

The Admin Panel was a panel that was used pre-Beta 5 release for moderators to quickly execute moderator actions, made by melt2002. (This is a WIP page)

There is a new panel, called the "Moderator Panel", it gives moderators the ability to delete posts, clear home pages, kick users, ban users, IP ban users, and pardon users/IPs.

Purpose

The Admin Panel was used to allow moderators to quickly execute moderator actions pre-Beta 5 release.

Purge Homepage

This deletes all posts on the homepage.

Pardon

This lets a user come back to Meower after they've been blocked or banned.

Block

This bans every user under a certain IP address from using Meower.

Ban

This bans a user from Meower forever, preventing them from posting messages.

Kick

This disconnects a user from Meower.

Moderator Levels

There are Moderator Levels which allow and deny access to certain Moderator actions.

Level 0

This is everyone who isn't a moderator. This restricts them from accessing options.

Level 1

This is the lowest moderator level. It allows them to purge the homepage and access more user data.

Level 2

This gives a user the ability to ban, block, or kick other users.

Level 3

This gives a user the ability to make announcements.

Level 4

This level is reserved for sysadmins (like MikeDEV). It grants every permission possible.

Current Use

The admin panel currently has no use. It is now deprecated, in favour of the moderation tools built into Meower Scratch, however the CL4 rewrite plans to make a new separate page for moderation tools.
