Beta 5

Beta 5 is a major release of the Meower beta versions. It was released on January 31, 2022, around 10:00 P.M. (22:00)<ref name=":0">https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/post/5998311/</ref>, with the release being announced on the Meower Forum by zedthehedgehog.<ref name=":0" /> It comes with an overhauled GUI, with many new options.

Beta 5 marked the end of the Italic Bug, for the removal of BBCode+. One back-end feature with Beta 5 is that there will be less reports of the IP Blocking Issue, now that Meower runs off of the Meower API.

• Ability to create chatrooms, such as AltHome
• Ability to see user profile pictures

• Sidebar (top bar still available in settings)
