Meower, originally named ScratchConnect, is a free, open-source, and non-profit social media platform.

Its front-end is written in Svelte, and it uses Python for its server-side functionality. Meower's aim is to provide "a positive experience for everyone."_meower.org

Clients

The current officially supported client, Meower Svelte, is available at app.meower.org.

Meower Vanilla, the original Meower client written in Scratch, was available at old.meower.org. On August 20, 2023, Meower Vanilla was retired, and its website now shows a credits screen with music.
