Meower Forums

This page refers to the new forums hosted by team member tnix at https://forums.meower.org, not the forums on Scratch.

Origins

Around the middle of 2022, an ex-Meower Team Member brought up a major issue, users under the age of 13 were using the Meower Discord. In response to this, MikeDEV decided to ban users under the age of 13 from the Meower Discord. Those users were still able to use Meower, but not the Discord.

In response to this, team member tnix said that he would host a forums site for Meower. A few days later, the new Meower Forums were born.

Activity

While users over the age of 13 have been fine with the forums, users under the age of 13 have been complaining about inactivity. Team and community members suspect that the Meower Discord is likely the cause.

The forums are mainly used for announcing updates related to Meower, third-party bots and clients, discussing activity on Meower, and sharing creations.

Downtime

The Meower Forums are known for downtime, usually caused by issues on tnix's server. While downtime is common for the forums, it does not affect Meower.
